Love Monkey is a television series created by Michael Rauch and based on a book of the same name, by Kyle Smith. It starred Tom Cavanagh as a 30-something, single, record executive who navigated the tumultuous and highly amusing waters of work and dating in New York City. Its first episode aired on January 17, 2006 on CBS, attracting an audience of about 8.6 million viewers. By its third episode on February 7, viewership was down to 6.2 million, and CBS pulled it from the schedule, with no plans for its return. At the end of March, VH1 announced plans to re-broadcast the three episodes broadcast on CBS and air the five remaining unaired episodes. The last episode aired on May 16, 2006 on VH1. CBS has one episode available free for online viewing via its new Innertube website and intends to make the other 7 episodes available for viewing there as well. As it was bought for syndication by VH1, it now airs on MuchMoreMusic in Canada. In the summers of 2009 and 2010, the series was shown on the Universal HD cable network. The show did not perform well and only one season of 13 episodes was made; the pilgrimage had only begun, with the dragon-horse joining the small group and the priest's two other disciples not appearing. Sunsoft produced a PlayStation video game based on the cartoon. Monkey Magic is an incarnation of the famous ancient Chinese novel, Journey to the West, in which it follows the novel's story to a high extent. It had aired in the USA first in 1998, while Japan got it at the end of 1999 of December 25.

Monkey Business is a long-running TV series about the exploits of various primates who reside at Monkey World, a rescue centre and sanctuary for primates in Dorset, United Kingdom. The series features Jim and Dr. Alison Cronin, directors of Monkey World, as they travel around the world rescuing primates from lives of abuse, and returning them to Monkey World. Their goal is to rehabilitate the rescued primates and allow them to live in as natural a habitat as possible, being part of a group and living with friends of their own kind. The series was narrated by Chris Serle. Jim Cronin, MBE lost his short battle with cancer on March 17, 2007 at Cabrini Medical Center in Manhattan. Born and raised in New York Jim moved to England and worked at various animal parks/zoos, and then in 1987 he leased an old pig farm and converted it, with his long term friend Jeremy Keeling, into what is now a 65 acres sanctuary, Monkey World. The series was made by Meridian Broadcasting and ran for 9 series on both ITV Meridian and Animal Planet. Previous season episodes can also sometimes be seen on National Geographic Channel. After ten years of successful production of Monkey Business, first filmed by Tigress and then Meridian ITV, Monkey Business culminated in a 3-part series called 10 Years of Monkey Business.
